A’Pelago Blue Economy Academy 2025 Applications Now Open!

A’Pelago Blue Economy Academy will launch in June 2025 in Turku, as a collaboration between A’Pelago, universities and higher education institutions in the Turku region, and the Liedon Säästöpankkisäätiö foundation.

A’Pelago Blue Economy Academy is a free course program aimed at young people, introducing the blue economy that promotes the good condition of seas, event production in the field, and career opportunities in the industry. The academy provides a great toolkit for understanding blue economy career opportunities, as well as planning, producing, and marketing industry events, taught directly by professionals in the field. The course is intended for 18–28-year-old students from universities and higher education institutions in the Turku region. The course will be taught in Finnish.

• Tue 19.8.2025, 09:00–16:00, Ruissalo Shipyard, Turku
• Wed 20.8.2025, 08:00–17:00, Ruissalo Shipyard, Turku
• Thu 21.8.2025, 08:00–17:00, Ruissalo Shipyard, Turku

A total of 20 students from universities and higher education institutions in the Turku region will be selected based on their applications. Apply by May 31, 2025, here.
