How We Measure Impact

A’Pelago combines quantitative impact measurement with qualitative impact analysis. We use the Ocean Impact Navigator framework developed by 1000 Ocean Startups together with venture-level impact assessments to evaluate how supported initiatives contribute to healthier and more resilient sea regions.

Why This Matters

Sea regions face increasing pressure from pollution, biodiversity loss, climate change and overexploitation. At the same time, scalable business solutions are needed to support restoration, resilience, and regenerative economic activity. A’Pelago exists to help accelerate that transition through collaboration, innovation and investment.
