The A'Pelago Blue Connect Cruise on February 27, 2025, brings together Finland's blue economy pioneers to explore and shape the future

Join us in launching the A'Pelago Initiative 2025 on the Blue Connect Cruise, a day cruise from Turku to Mariehamn and back.

This year’s A’Pelago events theme is Blue Economy Innovations i.e new business solutions related to oceans that enhance their health. In line with this theme, the Blue Connect Cruise will dive into the potential and growth opportunities of Finnish players in the blue economy sector. Key topics for discussion include:

• What is Finland’s role in advancing the new blue economy: Are we at the forefront of innovation or falling behind?
• What growth opportunities does the blue economy offer: How can these opportunities be seized?
• And what does the future of the blue economy look like?

The program includes inspiring talks, networking with around 60 like-minded sea activists and potential partners, deep dives into the state of Finland’s blue economy, four hands-on workshop sessions, and, of course, delicious food with wintery sea views.

This events venue is the historic sea route from Turku to Mariehamn aboard Viking Line's Glory, returning on Viking Line's Grace.

The event language is Finnish and it is open to everyone committed to advancing the blue economy and improving the health of our seas.
