Magnus Hellström

Magnus Hellström is a professor, researcher, and business strategist focused on sustainability, organizational transformation, and value-driven innovation.

With a background in industrial management and extensive experience in cross-disciplinary research, he explores how organizations and ecosystems can navigate complex transitions toward more sustainable and resilient business models. 

Drawing from both academic leadership and close collaboration with industry, Hellström brings insight into organizational culture, systems thinking, and the role of values in driving sustainable change. His work spans topics including project business, ecosystem development, and sustainability implementation across industrial and maritime contexts.

He will participate in the A’Pelago Initiative 2026 Day 1 Deepdive on Biodiversity offsetting and other “nature positive” measures – towards a marketplace for biodiversity.
