Mika Kanninen

Mika Kanninen is a technology and business leader with extensive experience in battery systems, electrification, and industrial innovation. He is currently leading battery and charging-related business development at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, supporting the transition towards more sustainable and electrified mining operations.

Prior to joining Sandvik, Mika was the Founder and CEO of Akkurate, a Finnish technology company specializing in battery analytics, lifecycle management, and battery-related digital services. Under his leadership, Akkurate grew into a recognized innovator in the battery technology sector and was acquired by Sandvik in 2022.

Mika is passionate about combining technology, data, and business development to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy solutions and electrification across industries.
