Wilma Tiainen

Wilma Tiainen is A’Pelago’s summer trainee in 2026, and she will be an Event Coordinator for Initiative 2026. She will be involved in planning the event and bringing the right people to the room.

Wilma is studying Industrial Enginering and Management in the University of Turku. Nature is close to Wilma’s heart, and the sea is her compass. It is where she goes to think, to reset and to remember what matters.

She is deep in Turku's startup scene, and she has a clear conviction: the people who will fix the world are the ones who build companies. She is on her way to becoming one of them. For Wilma, Initiative 2026 is more than an internship, it is a front-row seat to see what it takes to build something that matters.
