Utö can be reached all year round from Turku by combining bus and ferry. Take the bus from Turku, enjoy the first archipelago views and get off at Pärnäs. Bus timetables can be found here.
From Pärnäs, board m/s Baldur, the atmospheric ship that takes you to Utö. The timetable can be found here. During the 3-4h ship journey, you can enjoy lunch or dinner below the deck at Baldur’s restaurant or breath in the fresh archipelago wind on the upper deck.
When approaching by own car. First drive via Saaristotie through Parainen, and take the first ferry to Nagu. Then continue through Nagu center via Saaristotie all the way to Pärnäs harbor. Leave the car at the signed parking area and take the ferry m/s Baldur. Timetables of m/s Baldur can be found here.
