A’Pelago Decelerator launches: “From Storm to Calm” first event on November 6–7, 2025
A’Pelago is expanding its ecosystem with a new concept – A'Pelago Decelerator. Designed to support entrepreneurs’ wellbeing and resilience, the Decelerator offers spaces, events, and moments where individuals can slow down, reflect, and strengthen themselves as both people and leaders.
First event: From Storm to Calm
The first flagship event, “From Storm to Calm,” will take place on November 6–7, 2025 at Herrankukkaro, Naantali. The unique location, surrounded by nature and designed to foster deep relaxation, creates the perfect setting for the two-day retreat. The retreat will gather 70 participants for a diverse program combining presentations, guided activities, and experiential sessions. The event will be held in Finnish and partly in Swedish, with all meals and accommodation included in the ticket.
The Decelerator introduces a new dimension to A’Pelago’s work: alongside accelerators, funding rounds, and business kick-offs, it offers an antidote to the high pace of entrepreneurship. Here, business talk steps aside, and participants are invited to find balance, connection, and inspiration in a calmer environment shaped by the sea.
The program explores themes such as self-leadership, stress reduction, sensory experiences, and the healing power of the sea. It also sets the stage for a series of 6–10 smaller themed gatherings in 2026, as well as opportunities for 1:1 mentoring with accredited A’Pelago partners.
