Elina Niiranen serves as a Senior Responsible Investment Analyst at Evli Plc, a leading Nordic fund management company. As part of Evli’s responsible investing team, she plays a key role in advancing sustainable investment strategies across multiple asset classes. With over a decade of experience, Elina brings deep expertise in both finance and sustainability, having worked closely with large corporations, institutional investors, and a broad range of investment portfolios. She is an EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst and holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from LUT University, where she specialized in sustainability.

At the A’Pelago Initiative, Elina will lead a session titled How to Invest in Ocean Systems Change? a discussion focused on sustainable investment approaches and their potential to support the restoration of marine ecosystems.
