Brian Huff

Brian Huff is a technology and innovation leader at Sandvik, where he drives the development of next-generation battery-electric solutions for the mining industry. With over 25 years of experience in electrification, spanning automotive, marine, and industrial applications, he has built his career at the forefront of sustainable engineering.

Before joining Sandvik, Brian was Co-Founder and CTO of Artisan Vehicles, a pioneer in electric mining equipment, and has also worked in advanced vehicle engineering and research.

Today, he focuses on accelerating the shift from diesel to electric in mining, highlighting major gains in productivity, worker safety, and emissions reduction. He sees electrification as a defining transformation for the industry, with rapid advancements in battery technology reshaping how heavy operations are powered.
