Even Ovnerud

Even Ovnerud is a Norwegian venture investor and entrepreneur with a diverse background in finance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable technology. As Chairman, Founding Partner & Co-Founder of Oxidane Venture, he has played a key role in shaping the firm’s investment strategy, supporting portfolio companies, and identifying opportunities within water innovation and climate-focused technologies.

With his combination of financial expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and extensive international network, Even brings valuable insight to the Nordic startup ecosystem. Guided by the vision “Endless value in water,” he strongly believes that technology and sustainability will drive the next generation of impactful businesses and long-term value creation.

Even holds an Executive MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and has studied business in Norway, Spain, and Australia. Prior to Oxidane, he worked at DNB and DNB Markets. Outside of work, he enjoys running and kayaking.

Even will join Apelago Initiative in August as an Investor Jury Member, bringing his experience in venture investing and sustainability-focused innovation to the program.
