Jim Cantrell

Jim Cantrell is a pioneering aerospace entrepreneur, engineer, and investor with more than three decades of experience shaping the commercial space industry. A founding team member of SpaceX and later Moon Express, he has also founded several pioneering space companies, including Phantom Space, Vector, and StratSpace. Throughout his career, Jim has held roles with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the French Space Agency (CNES), and has contributed to dozens of satellite and space missions. Today, he focuses on accelerating innovation in the space economy by making access to space more affordable and scalable, while advising and investing in breakthrough deep-tech ventures worldwide.
