Karoliina Joensuu

Karoliina Joensuu is Senior Vice President and Head of the Industry Business Unit at Elomatic, an international consulting and engineering company delivering solutions for the process, machinery, marine, energy and pharmaceutical industries. With nearly 20 years of experience in the energy sector, she specializes in advancing energy systems toward carbon neutrality and accelerating sustainable industrial transformation.

Appointed in September 2024, Karoliina leads Elomatic’s newly established Industry business unit, combining Elomatic’s expertise and comprehensive service offering in process and energy industries as well as machinery and equipment design.

Before joining Elomatic, Karoliina was heading the operation & maintenance partnership business of Caverion Industry. She previously led renewable energy and environmental consulting at FCG Finnish Consulting Group, headed the renewable energy business at Pöyry, and oversaw energy & environment consulting operations at ÅF Consulting. Across these roles, she has built a strong track record in strategic partnerships and sustainability-focused industrial development.
