Lauri Reuter

Lauri Reuter is a partner at Nordic Foodtech VC, where he invests in early-stage companies building the future of food and sustainable production. With a background in biotechnology and cellular agriculture, Lauri has been at the forefront of advancing novel proteins, alternative ingredients, and science-based solutions that aim to decouple food systems from environmental degradation.

Over the course of his career, Lauri has combined deep scientific expertise with venture building, working closely with founders to translate breakthrough research into scalable, commercially viable businesses. His work focuses on accelerating technologies that reduce pressure on land, water, and Seas, while strengthening food security and resilience in the Nordics and beyond.

At Nordic Foodtech VC, he supports mission-driven entrepreneurs developing transformative solutions across the food value chain, from precision fermentation to next-generation agricultural inputs, helping position the region as a global hub for sustainable food innovation.
