Mikko Leskelä

Mikko Leskelä is a Finnish business strategist, author and leadership expert affiliated with Thinkers50, the global platform for management thought–leaders. He has held senior roles including CEO of a strategy-consulting firm and head of strategic planning at a major European bank.

Mikko's work intersects humanities and business: drawing on anthropology, theology and management practice, he explores how human behaviour, culture and organisational context inform strategic change. He is the author of Bisnesantropologia ja muut ihmistieteet strategiatyössä (2020), among other publications.

At A’Pelago Initiative 2026, Mikko brings his expertise in leadership, systems thinking and interdisciplinary insight into how organisations and regions navigate change. His presence strengthens the event’s emphasis on the Blue Economy, coastal and island innovation, and cross-sector collaboration.
