Sanne Bootsma

Sanne Bootsma is an Impact Investment Manager at DOEN Ventures, where she invests in early-stage startups accelerating the transition to a regenerative economy. With a background in finance and impact investing, she focuses on supporting entrepreneurs developing scalable solutions across circular business models, regenerative food systems, alternative materials, and the blue economy. Sanne is passionate about backing founders who challenge existing systems and create measurable environmental and social impact through innovation.

Sanne will join Apelago Initiative in August as an Investor Jury Member, bringing her experience in venture investing and sustainability-focused innovation to the program.
