Sindre Østgård

Sindre Østgård is a leading Norwegian entrepreneur and transformation strategist with more than two decades of experience shaping digital ecosystems, impact-driven organisations and ocean-focused innovation. He is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of We Are Human, where he helps build purpose-driven companies that combine social and commercial impact. His work spans hands-on support for startups, high-growth organisations, and large-scale digital transformations.

As Chair and Co-founder of EntrepreneurShip One, based at Akerhuskaia/EntreprenørSkjær, Østgård is dedicated to solving high-value challenges in the Ocean and Blue Economy through technology, collaboration, and values-based leadership. He has held influential positions across Norway’s innovation landscape, including Chairman of Katapult Ocean, co-founder of PropTech Norway, and CEO roles within the Schibsted ecosystem. His board experience includes globally recognised organisations such as Kahoot!, Stiftelsen Kronprinsparets Fond, PatoGen, and Kron.

Earlier in his career, Østgård led major digital transformations as Head of New Media at NRK, overseeing strategy and development for some of Norway’s most widely used digital services. He has also held leadership roles at Discovery Networks International and has deep experience in cross-media innovation, technology-driven storytelling, and building communities around learning and exploration. He is also a member of the Explorers Club, reflecting his passion for curiosity-driven leadership and global perspectives.
