Sini Toivonen

Sini is the newest member of A'Pelago, and her area of responsibility includes business partnerships and event production. Sini has over 10 years of experience in corporate events and partnership management.

Sini holds a Master of Science in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She completed both degrees in pioneering groups at the University of Turku and Turku University of Applied Sciences, and is accustomed to creating something new. Sini has gained international experience, among other things, through a work exchange in San Francisco, where she worked in the go-to-market operations of a startup appointed through Startup Lifers, and organized hackathons and client events.

In addition to her long-dreamed work exchange, Sini realized her dream of entrepreneurship and now serves as the CEO of Soma Events Oy.

In her free time, Sini enjoys spending time with her family, with her 1- and 2-year-old daughters keeping everyday life busy. Besides events, Sini has a passion for the archipelago and wants to ensure that enjoying a vibrant sea remains possible in the future.
