Tatu Tanskanen

Tatu Tanskanen was A’Pelago’s summer trainee in 2025, and he returns this year as Speaker Host and Stage Coordinator for Initiative 2026. He will lead his own team to ensure that every session runs smoothly and on schedule.

Tatu is a master’s student in International Business at the School of Business and Economics at Åbo Akademi University. Having grown up in coastal cities, he has a deep personal connection to the sea, which has been a grounding and calming presence throughout his life. He believes in the importance of healthy oceans not only for the environment but also for their central role in Nordic culture. Tatu is excited to collaborate with the A’Pelago team to help bring the Initiative 2026 event to life.
