Tero Niemi

Tero Niemi is Director of Ecosystem Development at Business Turku, where he leads Southwest Finland's maritime security and dual-use technology ecosystem alongside portfolios in health and life sciences, clean transition and food and nutrition. He comes to the corporate venturing conversation from both sides of the table: two decades of P&L leadership in international corporations — most recently as Country Managing Director of Cognizant Finland and before that as COO of the Savings Bank Group — including M&A and post-merger integration across the Nordics. He holds an MBA from Aalto and a Master's degree in international politics from the University of Tampere, and works to the principle that what doesn't transform, withers.
