Hannu Krook
CEO and Chairman of the Board, SOK
Hannu Krook has been Chairman and CEO of SOK Corporation since the beginning of 2021. Before starting in this position, he was CEO of Co-op Varuboden-Osla since 2013, when he joined S-Group.
He has held several CEO and C-suite positions in several international corporations since 1997. These include CEO positions in Coca-Cola Finland, Telecom operator Sonera’s subsidiaries, Otto Brandt Group and Tiimari Plc as well as CMO position in Sonera Corporation and SVP of Consumer products and services in TeliaSonera Corporation. He started his career in Procter & Gamble Scandinavia in Sweden and moved from there to the Boston Consulting Group.
He holds Master of Science (Econ.) degree from Helsinki School of Economics. He has also completed Stanford Executive Program and studied in Ecole de Management Strasbourg, France.
Mr. Krook is currently a board member, vice chairman or chairman in several Finnish organizations such as Finnish Commerce Federation, Confederation of Finnish Industries and International Chamber of Commerce.
The President of the Republic of Finland has granted the Finnish honorary title of kauppaneuvos to Mr. Krook in 2020.
