Sustainability Manager & DPO at Viking Line
Dani spent his childhood summers by the sea in the Turku archipelago. This time spent at the family cottage in Pargas instilled in him a respect for the natural world that has persisted throughout his life.
Dani works as the Sustainability Manager for Viking Line, a group company with a strong sustainability agenda and core values such as care for the Baltic Sea and its archipelago. Dani is a sustainability professional with keen knowledge of subjects such as energy and alternative fuels, emissions, and the climate transition. In the course of his work Dani has managed projects and stakeholder relations, deployed group sustainability strategies, and looked closely at future scenarios and their potential business impacts.
Apart from reading, Dani mostly spends his spare time with his wife and two young daughters, often feeding the curiosity of children who are curious to learn about the natural world.
