Luis de Miranda

Philosopher, University of Turku

Luis de Miranda, born in Portugal, raised in France, and now living between the Stockholm Archipelago and Turku, is a philosophical practitioner and a Senior Fellow at Turku University. He is an international author of non-fiction and fiction books translated into a dozen languages. His essay Being and Neonness was published by MIT Press in 2019, and in 2024 he is publishing two books on Philosophical Health (Bloomsbury). As a philosophical counsellor, he helps international corporations such as Vattenfall with self-innovation and innovation sessions, using meaning-making “crealectic” models. A constant sailor on the Baltic Sea, Luis finds oneiric inspiration in its gentle rocking; as a process philosopher, he sees the world as a “Creative Sea of Possibility and Compossibility."
