Tanja Liljeqvist

Hotel Manager, Kasnäsudden Oy

Located in the heart of the Turku Archipelago, at the southern tip of Kimito Island, Ab Kasnäsudden Oy was established in 1995 as a subsidiary of Ab Salmonfarm Oy.

This family-owned business, offering tourism services, includes a hotel, a recently completed restaurant, a spa, conference facilities, a guest harbor, a caravan area, and a grocery store with fish counters, a café, and a bakery.

The entire company is run by the Liljeqvist family for the second generation. Wilhelm, Tanja's husband, serves as the CEO, and the restaurant is managed by Henrika, Wilhelm's sister. The business in Kasnäs is a way of life and home for the entire family.

Tanja joined the company in 2006. Prior to that, she completed a Hotel and Restaurant management degree in Helsinki in 1997 and then worked in various positions at Viking Line.

Environmental issues and responsible tourism are the cornerstones of the entire company. The goal is to develop the service concept responsibly and qualitatively so that customers can be offered wonderful experiences in a unique environment, and to create a company developed responsibly for future generations.

Tanja has always a lot going on at work and loves the hustle and bustle, especially during the summer. As a counterbalance to her hectic work, Tanja spends her free time with Wilhelm and their three children at their summer cottage on a nearby island or out boating, enjoying the beauty of the archipelago and nature.
