Tuomo Meretniemi is an adventurer, keynote speaker, writer and Ex-CEO. After quitting his position as CEO of the largest tour operator in Finland he has worked as growth consultant and startup advisor and sailed from Europe to New Zealand with his wife and three children. He is an author of six business and travel books and gives talks about themes like courage, uncertainty and team work.
At the time of the A'Pelago Initiative event he is preparing to cross the Indian Ocean from Indonesia to South Africa on his yacht s/y Panacea. When not sailing, he lives with his family in Dalsbruk, a small village in the Finnish archipelago.
